Figures
There are two types of figures released
for the DMC series: action figures, and gashapon. Action figures come pre-assembled.
These figures are usually taller than their gashapon counterpart, as well
as more expensive.
Gashapon
are self-assembled figures. The pieces of a figure start out inside a plastic
capsule. Once you open the capsule, you assemble the parts
together and get yourself a finished figure. These
plastic capsules are found in gumball machines in Japan, so character selection is random.
Sometimes gashapon come inside boxes instead of capsules.
